People assume horses are cheap in Indonesia. WRONG! Horses here are very expensive compared to other places in the world.
It takes a lot of time, patience and bartering to buy a horse that desperately needs rescuing. Even when they are close to death.
Horse prices can range from 30 million to 100 million depending on the size.
Re-training a horse takes about 6 to 10 months depending on the severity of the trauma. In this period the horse cannot be used for customers. We are seeking help to cover the cost for training.
Your donations will help to put rescue horses through school so they will never have to experience their old life again.
As you can imagine, horses eat a lot! It's a constant struggle to cover each month. To save costs we would love to be able to buy in bulk.
We have 3 different types of food our horses are given. Only this type can be purchased in bulk as it has a longer shelf life.
