When Simone started Salty Cowboy, her dream wasn’t just to rescue horses, but it was to give them space to feel free, and to share that quiet connection with others.

​

Building a stable comes with its challenges, especially when it’s built on love rather than big budgets. So Simone decided to create a few simple, beautiful homes by the paddocks; where guests could stay close to nature and the horses could always be nearby.​

Our cottages sit in the middle of the village of Kedungu, a short 800m walk from the beach.

We're surrounded by nature and the slow rhythm of village life, with the rescue stables right next door.
